Chef - Sterling Lines (ESS - Compass Group)

Pay Rate: £17.15 per hour
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Full-time, site-based
About the Role
We're looking for a skilled and reliable Chef to join our catering team at Sterling Lines. You'll prepare and serve fresh, high-quality meals in a structured military catering environment, supporting consistent food standards and excellent service for Service Personnel.
Working Pattern
Monday - Thursday: 10:00 - 18:00
Friday: 07:00 - 14:30
Meal Service Times
Breakfast: 07:00 - 08:00
Lunch: 12:00 - 13:00
Evening Meal: 17:00 - 18:00
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a similar chef or catering role - essential
?? Relevant qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) - desirable
?? Strong knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety
?? Team player with a positive, reliable approach
