This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Internal Logistics Engineering (ILE) team—supporting the delivery of major operational projects while gaining real, practical experience in a fast‑paced environment. Whether you’re early in your career or looking to break into engineering/operations, this role gives you the platform to learn, grow, and make an immediate impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an ILE Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in enabling safe, efficient movement of bodyshells and supporting onsite operational improvements:
1. Coordinate and plan the internal process for delivering eK0 bodyshells.
This includes installing hoists and helping design or modify trailers to ensure safe, damage‑free movement.
2. Support the ILE team on a variety of shop‑floor tasks — from building flow racks to clearing areas for new kitting cells.
3. Direct and guide a small DIY team (3 FLT drivers) to complete ILE‑related tasks.
4. Work cross‑functionally with multiple departments to enable engineering and logistics improvements.
5. Stay hands‑on—this is not a desk‑only role. You’ll blend planning with real shop‑floor activity daily.
6. Use basic IT skills, especially Excel, to support planning and coordination.
Qualifications
7. Basic engineering knowledge or experience
8. Confidence guiding a small team
9. Computer literacy (particularly Excel, V-Lookups)
10. Interest in learning, growing, and getting hands‑on across different areas
11. Enjoy working on the shop floor—not just behind a desk

13. Initial 12 month contract with potential to be extended
