We offer extensive training and deliver a broad range of interventions, including accredited group work programmes, Trauma Informed Care and Restorative Justice practices. Our Women’s Centre provides gender‑specific services for women aged 18 and over, reducing barriers and meeting their unique needs.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to a broad range of provision alongside multi‑disciplinary colleagues, including support workers, social workers, psychologists, nursing staff, third‑sector partners, and peer supporters.
* Deliver one‑to‑one and group work interventions and provide community outreach support.
* Assess and manage risk, working within various legal frameworks and the adult support and protection legislation.
* Apply best‑practice approaches with clients experiencing mental health difficulties and complex trauma.
* Participate in the delivery of evidence‑based, key principles‑based services at the Women’s Justice Centre.
Requirements
* Female candidate only (Occupational Requirement under Equality Act 2010).
* Experience working with women in the justice system, mental health, and complex trauma.
* Demonstrated knowledge of the justice system and risk assessment.
* Eligible to join or update a Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 scheme; a PVG update check or Overseas Criminal Record Check may be required.
