Job Description
The role is responsible for leading stages in the offnet access delivery cycle, including identifying partners, assessing access feasibility, delivery, account settlement, supplier management, and service experience improvement. The goal is to ensure timely, successful offnet quoting and delivery at optimal costs. This tactical role influences the operational plans based on business strategy, impacting the overall results of the business unit.
Responsibilities
* Identify access suppliers/partners at the national and regional levels and analyze competition to facilitate last mile delivery.
* Lead negotiations with potential access suppliers/partners on contractual capabilities.
* Maintain strong relationships with access suppliers to enhance efficiency and reduce delivery costs.
* Explore opportunities to expand business with key vendors through new portfolios and order types.
* Collaborate with product teams to develop new technology solutions with partners.
* Design effective offnet access solutions considering route maps, power and path diversity, tailored to local market requirements.
* Support sales and cross-functional teams with special requests such as pricing negotiations, non-standard offerings, and expedited delivery to enhance win rates.
* Finalize and renew vendor contracts for maintenance and installation of network components.
* Conduct regular reviews with key suppliers to assess performance, feasibility, and cost-effectiveness from pre-sales to post-sales.
* Contribute to planning for jeopardy and contingency management to meet delivery timelines.
* Possess experience in telecommunications, especially in managing Telco partners.
Desired Skill Sets
* Understanding of global telecom networks and access technologies.
* Technical and commercial knowledge relevant to telecom supply chains.
* Experience in large project planning and execution.
* Knowledge of the access supply chain market within the region.
