About The Role
Personal Assistants (Support Workers) support adults with learning disabilities in Cumbernauld, Coatbridge and Airdrie. You will work varied shifts, including short and long days, evenings, nights and overnight support. Your duty is to help individuals achieve their personal goals and outcomes, providing personal care, moving and handling assistance, and positive behavioural support while expanding their social networks.
Responsibilities
* Assist with personal care tasks.
* Help with moving and handling activities.
* Provide positive behavioural support.
* Support individuals in household tasks.
* Accompany and facilitate participation in clubs, activities and community events.
* Assist with trips and outings to further afield.
* Work collaboratively with the team to ensure safety, wellbeing and aspiration goals are met.
Qualifications and Experience
No care experience is required. We value commitment, dedication, transferable skills and a genuine desire to support people with learning disabilities.
