Salary: £26,227 per annum (£13.45 p/h equivalent)

This role is designed for people with lived experience. We are seeking a candidate with lived experience of recovery from addiction who can use their personal experience, alongside professional skills, to support others on their recovery journey.

We recognise that the people we support have skills and experience that can bringabout positive changes for themselves. Through an ethos of inclusion, equality andfairness, our staff are committed to promoting good mental health and wellbeing forpeople using our services.

Our ARBD supported accommodation is based in Bardowie Street in GlasgowsPossilpark, and is an assessment centre for people who have been diagnosed withARBD or possible ARBD. We provide a safe and positive environment in whichpeople can develop the life skills and confidence to actively move towards anddefine their recovery.

The service provides bespoke and proactive support to identify and address theindividuals needs, placing them at the heart of their support. With an emphasis onindependence and empowerment, people are helped to move toward self-identifiedgoals. While there is an element of collaborative group work, this is at all timesfocussed on improving self-esteem and addressing issues such loneliness, socialexclusion and addiction in a supportive peer environment.

You will be passionate about working in a person-centred way with adults from avariety of backgrounds, and with a range of challenges. With a strong interest inpeople and a commitment to helping others, you will strive to make a positive impacton peoples lives and tailor support to enable people to fulfil their best potential.
