Salary: A GBP 12.55 per hour.

Full time, 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
We are currently looking for Field Service Engineers to join the team within our Mold Service Centre. As a healthcare equipment provider, Ross Care works in partnership with the NHS to supply necessary equipment and aids to support people in their daily lives.
Job Purpose
To enable the Company to achieve the agreed contractual standard of service by completing initial training in the workshop reconditioning wheelchair equipment to gain essential product knowledge. After training, you will work in the field delivering, collecting, repairing, and servicing wheelchairs. The goal is to complete most jobs on a first-time fix basis.
Key Responsibilities
* Delivering and collecting wheelchairs to and from service users' homes and NHS departments, following the Company Infection Control Policy.
* Servicing and repairing wheelchairs in the field with the aim of achieving a first-time fix whenever possible.
* Completing all paperwork accurately, including parts used and actions taken, to ensure proper data updates.
* Using PPE as instructed during duties.
* Undertaking out-of-hours responsibilities when rostered, once fully trained.
* Adhering to regulations for driving and using the Company vehicle, and being aware of responsibilities under health and safety laws.
* Maintaining the vehicle in a tidy condition and replenishing necessary parts daily.
* Conducting weekly vehicle safety and van checks.
* Maintaining a professional attitude, wearing your uniform and ID badge, and keeping the uniform clean.
* Prioritising and organising workload with guidance from your Line Manager.
* Maintaining tools and equipment responsibly.
* Undertaking necessary training to keep skills up to date.
Qualifications
* Full UK driving licence
* Successful enhanced DBS check
* General workshop knowledge
* Basic electrical knowledge, including 12v/24v D.C. systems
* Ability to move and handle loads safely
* Experience in face-to-face customer contact
* Previous delivery driver experience
* Understanding of disabilities
* Flexibility in working conditions
* Initiative within role boundaries
* Ability to use a mobile phone to relay photographs
* Good communication skills
* Ability to give clear instructions to clients
* Awareness of handheld scanners
