The Company & Commercial team advise a range of clients, including companies, partnerships, sole-traders and start-ups and they pride themselves on gaining a deep understanding of their client's businesses and aspirations. Upon joining the team, your day to day responsibilities will include:
1. Dealing with the sale and purchase of businesses
2. Preparing and assessing contracts and agreements
3. Handling mergers, acquisitions and partnerships
4. Assessing risks in business transactions and notifying compliance teams of any issues
5. Representing businesses in court or alternative dispute resolution processes.
6. Providing general legal advice on various matters, such as IP, employment and regulatory compliance
