Job Opportunity: Rheumatology Specialist
This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with a friendly and dynamic multi-disciplinary team, developing and advancing skills and knowledge in the field of Rheumatology.

The post holder will be expected to develop advanced clinical skills, theoretical knowledge, and practical experience. They will ensure that clinical care of patients is evidence-based and carried out in line with the British Society of Rheumatology and NICE guidelines. They will work closely within the multidisciplinary team using their acquired expertise to deliver a high standard of patient-centered consultant-led rheumatology care.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work collaboratively with rheumatology consultants and the practitioner team in planning and providing a gold standard service.
2. Maintain high standards of professional practice to ensure quality and safety of patient care, experience, and the patient journey.
3. Engage in specialised clinical practice, knowledge, and skills, leading by example.
4. Support and contribute to the team in ensuring clinical services are delivered to high standards and compliance requirements such as CQC and contractual obligations are met.
5. Perform comprehensive assessments of patients, including those with complex presentations, requiring high-level analysis and interpretation skills.
6. Develop clinically reasoned treatment plans and evaluate outcomes.
7. Train and develop staff reporting to or under your responsibility.
