Position Overview:
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Warehouse Operative to join our team, reporting to the Warehouse Manager/Team Leader.
Responsibilities:
* Meet the company's Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures at all times.
* Understand, develop, and promote company objectives, participating with enthusiasm to achieve and exceed them.
* Conduct regular performance reviews with line management.
* Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with management.
* Understand work requirements and complete supervised training accordingly.
* Confirm items picked match descriptions; pick & pack items securely for delivery.
* Arrange certification issuance as per picking notes.
* Pack similar-sized parts from different manufacturers to retain identity and segregation.
* Load goods for dispatch within deadlines.
* Check for damaged labels and request replacements.
* Cover for envoys as required, with relevant licenses.
* Unload delivered goods and verify them against orders and purchase orders.
* Book products into the system, batch boxes, and pass samples and paperwork for inspection.
* Store goods appropriately or transfer to boxing or subcontract operations.
* Confirm receipt of delivery documentation.
* Repackage bulk products into smaller quantities as needed.
* Fill boxing machine hoppers and move boxed goods to storage.
* Resolve discrepancies during picking and inform management of stock outages.
Skills and Competences:
* Previous warehouse experience, ideally in a distribution center.
* Forklift license or Materials Handling Equipment (MHE) training preferred.
* Ability to work at heights.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Results-oriented with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Team player with a flexible, friendly attitude.
* Effective communication skills and customer service focus.
* Decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
* Manual handling capacity to lift up to 20kg regularly.
* Willingness to learn and perform all warehouse duties flexibly.
* Flexible work pattern across three shifts (AM/PM).
