About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Lighting Controls Sales Engineer to join a growing lighting controls and energy solutions business. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who has an interest in lighting controls, intelligent buildings, and energy‑efficient technologies. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, supporting sales activities through technical assistance, quotations, and customer engagement – while receiving structured training and development to build both technical and commercial expertise. Key Responsibilities
* Support customers and consultants with lighting controls enquiries
* Assist with project quotations and basic system designs
* Attend customer and consultant meetings (independently or with senior colleagues)
* Help prepare technical presentations and CPD materials
* Support the handover process from sales to project delivery
* Maintain accurate CRM records
* Travel nationally as required
Skills & Experience
* Basic understanding of lighting controls (DALI knowledge preferred)
* Exposure to lighting, electrical, BMS, or building services environments
* Strong communication and organisational skillsProfessional and customer‑focused approach
* Willingness to learn and develop technical and commercial skills
* Comfortable using MS Office and CRM systems
* Full UK driving licence preferred
