Engineering Supervisor – Food Manufacturing
I'm recruiting on behalf of a food manufacturing business that's looking to hire an experienced Engineering Supervisor to lead engineering activity during shift and keep the plant running efficiently. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on Engineering Supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Engineering Supervisor – Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of Engineers during your shift
Oversee all planned and reactive maintenance activity
Ensure minimal downtime and support production targets
Drive a proactive maintenance culture as an Engineering Supervisor
Support continuous improvement and engineering projects
Maintain site compliance with health & safety and food safety standards
Act as the senior engineering contact on shift, escalating issues when needed
Engineering Supervisor – Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar Engineering Supervisor or Team Leader role
Background in food manufacturing, FMCG, or another regulated industry
Strong mechanical and/or electrical engineering knowledge
Confident managing teams and leading from the front
Flexible to work rotating shifts or nights, depending on site structure
