Veterinary Care Assistant
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Veterinary Care Assistant to join our Ashton practice.
You'll be working alongside vets, vet nurses, and our reception team, carrying out a wide range of tasks. We're looking for a team player who is willing to get stuck in, work hard, and is keen to learn. We'll provide training and support to get you going, and you'll quickly become an integral member of the team.
Your tasks will include keeping the clinic clean, tidy, and organised; feeding and monitoring in-patients; running clinical tests; handling a variety of small animals; helping set up for operations; deep cleaning all areas; speaking to clients on the phone and in person. Good verbal communication skills and basic computer literacy are essential.
This is ideally a full-time role working 35 to 40 hours per week. The shifts will be 12 or 1 pm till 7pm 5 days a week with occasional weekend cover.
This role will initially be paid at £12.21 per hour.
