Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: South East England, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Secondary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £80 - £90 Per day Job Description: Job Duties: Provide support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom setting Assist the class teacher in implementing individual education plans for students Support students with their learning and development, including personal care if required Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students Collaborate with the SENCO and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience working with children or young people with SEN Understanding of safeguarding procedures in an educational setting Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Preferred Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools First Aid training Mental Health First Aid qualification Working Conditions: Working hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday Temporary position with the possibility of extension Classroom-based role with potential for outdoor activities Opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with SEN All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
