Your Role as an HGV Technician in Sheffield
As a key HGV Technician in the Sheffield workshop, you will be crucial to maintaining fleet compliance and operational readiness. You will apply your technical knowledge to ensure all vehicles and trailers are repaired to the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out routine inspections, maintenance, service, and repairs on both franchised and non-franchised marques.
* Perform complex fault diagnosis and rectification using manufacturer computer systems and specialist tooling.
* Complete a wide range of defect repairs, including comprehensive engine repairs.
* Accurately complete job cards and service sheets using online systems in line with warranty protocol.
What You Need to Be a Successful HGV Technician
We are seeking a qualified HGV Mechanic and dedicated Technician ready for this specialist HGV Technician role in Sheffield.
* Prerequisite NVQ L3 (or similar equivalent) is essential.
* At least 3 years of experience within a similar heavy vehicle role.
* Great knowledge of repairing and servicing HGVs, ideally with main dealer experience.
* HGV licence is desired, but not essential.
