Senior Biomedical Scientist
Location: Glasgow Hospital, Pathology.
Employment: Permanent, Full time.
Hours: 37.5 per week.
Salary: Competitive depending on experience.
Responsibilities
* Deliver a high quality histology service.
* Perform biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation and reporting, and quality control.
* Maintain records of specimens, results, reagents and consumables.
* Support validation and assessment of new equipment and development of new diagnostic procedures.
Qualifications
* Registered with HCPC.
* Relevant laboratory experience in Histopathology; multi‑disciplinary biomedical science experience an advantage.
* Good working knowledge of different analytical equipment across multidisciplinary techniques.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and within a small team.
* Awareness of the importance of maintaining good customer relationships and delivering a high level of service in a modern pathology laboratory.
