Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant - KS2 (Year 3 & Year 4) Location: Birmingham, B34 Contract Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday) Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Start Date: ASAP Monarch Education is currently recruiting for a highly experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in the B34 area of Birmingham. This full-time role involves working with pupils in Year 3 during the morning and Year 4 in the afternoon, providing tailored support to children with additional needs across Key Stage 2. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEND in Year 3 and Year 4. Assist with the implementation of EHCPs and individual learning plans. Support pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour management, and academic progress. Work closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and support staff to ensure inclusive and effective learning. Foster a nurturing and structured environment that promotes independence and confidence. Requirements: Level 3 Childcare-related qualification. Significant experience supporting SEND pupils in KS2 is essential. Strong understanding of SEND strategies and inclusive classroom practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
