Salary details: Grade F £28,598 - £31,537 FTE pro-rata (£14.82-£16.35 per hour - Actual Salary £19,856-£21,897)
Permanent Contract: 30 hours per week (08:45-15:15 Monday-Friday)
Term time only - 38 weeks plus 5 training days

About The Role
* Take day‑to‑day responsibility for the smooth and inspiring running of our Starfish Nursery environment.
* Work closely with our EYFS Leader to deliver an ambitious, curiosity‑driven curriculum.
* Create inviting, high‑quality learning environments indoors and outdoors.
* Lead, guide and support your team with support from the EYFS Leader.
* Build strong, respectful relationships with children, staff and families.
* Champion equality, diversity and inclusion.
* Be given protected time for administration and planning of learning.

* Lead by example and bring warmth, positivity and professionalism to your role.
* Genuinely love working with young children and watching them grow.
* Have experience in a ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ setting.
* Understand the EYFS and Birth to Five matters in depth.
* Are creative, organised and confident in your communication.
* Can support children with SEND effectively and compassionately.
* Enjoy collaborating with a strong, supportive team.
* Hold at least a Level 3 childcare qualification.
* Are keen to mentor colleagues working towards Early Years qualifications.
* Are committed to safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusion for all.
What Our Successful Candidate Will Bring
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS and child development
* Experience supporting children with SEN
* A love for enriching learning, both indoors and outdoors
* Initiative, creativity and enthusiasm
* Excellent communication and ICT skills
* Confidence working alongside the Early Years Lead, SENCo and Inclusion Team
* The ability to develop strong partnerships with families and colleagues
* A willingness to complete (or already hold) a Paediatric First Aid certificate
