Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Contract)
Location: Newark | Rate: £33 - £35.00 p/h | Shift: 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights rotation - 6:00 to 18:00 / 18:00 to 6:00) | Start Date: May
We're looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site. This is a hands‑on role with a strong electrical bias, supporting production through a mix of reactive and planned maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs
* Support reactive breakdowns and PPM activities
* Work on 3‑phase systems, motors, inverters, and control panels
* Assist with electrical installations and modifications
* Help improve machine reliability and efficiency
Requirements
* Level 3 engineering qualification
* Strong electrical fault‑finding skills (PLC knowledge beneficial but not essential)
* Experience working with 3‑phase systems, drives, motors, and control equipment
* Ability to read and work from electrical drawings
* Heavy industry background (beneficial)
