We are seeking a Lecturer in Civil Engineering with research expertise in structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, and transport engineering. The successful candidate will contribute to high-quality teaching, research, and knowledge exchange, ensuring an excellent student learning experience.
Candidates should hold a PhD in Civil Engineering or a related field and demonstrate expertise in structural analysis and design, soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and transportation systems. A growing research profile, evidenced by publications and potential for securing research funding, is desirable.
Experience in teaching, curriculum development, and student supervision is essential. Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or membership with ICE, IStructE, or CIHT is advantageous. The role requires strong collaboration and communication skills to engage with industry partners, contribute to research-led teaching, and drive innovation in civil engineering.
