Our client, is seeking a Planning Policy Team Leader to join their team on a contract basis. This position is crucial in providing leadership and direction in planning policy matters, ensuring that the organisation's objectives are met effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading the planning policy team in the preparation and implementation of planning policies
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines
Providing strategic advice and support on planning policy issues
Engaging with stakeholders and the public to gather input and feedback on planning policies
Managing the development and review of local plans and policy documents
Analysing and presenting data to inform policy decisions
Mentoring and supporting team members to ensure high-quality outputs
Coordinating with other departments to ensure cohesive policy implementation
