Key Responsibili

• ties Lead and manage a varied portfolio of planning projects from inception through to determination and ap
• peal.Prepare and review planning applications, appraisals, planning statements and appeal submiss
• ions.Provide strategic planning advice to clients, landowners, developers and other stakehol
• ders.Manage client relationships and act as a trusted advisor throughout the planning pro
• cess.Represent clients at meetings, public consultations, hearings and inquiries where requ
• ired.Liaise with local authorities, consultees and professional teams to progress projects efficie
• ntly.Support business development activities and assist in securing new instruct
• ions.Mentor and support junior planners, helping to develop technical and professional skills within the
• team.Keep up to date with planning legislation, policy changes and industry developm

ents.
Candidate Requir

• ements MRTPI qua
• lified.Significant experience within either a planning consultancy, local authority or development envir
• onment.Strong working knowledge of the UK planning
• system.Proven experience managing planning applications and complex development pr
• ojects.Excellent report writing, communication and presentation
• skills.Commercial awareness and the ability to build and maintain client relatio
• nships.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and dea
• dlines.Full UK driving licence pre
