Who are you?
An experienced communication system engineer with a proven track record in defining and delivering complex systems from initial feasibility and concept studies through to design, delivery, and testing.
You are a self-starter with the ability to manage risks and resolve technical issues pragmatically.
Educated to at least degree level or equivalent in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline, with demonstrable expertise in RF and digital signal processing.
Experience in deriving and managing technical requirements for communication systems and equipment development.
Proficiency in verification and testing of communication systems.
Experience with secure communication systems, including cryptography, key exchange, and physical layer protection.
Proven leadership and management skills for technical teams.
Good understanding of requirements for various space mission types in LEO, GEO, and MEO environments, and applicable standards.
Familiarity with licensing implications and industry standards such as ITU regulations, ECSS, and CCSDS.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
What will you be doing here?
Designing, developing, building, and testing communication systems.
Managing a team of electronics and RF specialists, with support from team leaders.
Delivering projects to government and commercial clients.
Defining communication system requirements for space and ground segments, ensuring efficient planning and implementation.
Deriving technical requirements and creating test and verification plans, coordinating with relevant subsystems and disciplines.
Shaping company best practices and future technical solutions within your discipline.
