Job Summary:
Agriemach Ltd is seeking a skilled and motivated Site Fitter with specialist expertise in exhaust gas aftertreatment systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of advanced emissions control technologies across a range of industrial and commercial sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Installation & Assembly
* Install exhaust gas aftertreatment systems including SCR, DPF, DOC, and catalytic converters.
* Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation manuals.
* Ensure mechanical and electrical integration with existing systems.
* Commissioning
* Conduct system start-up procedures and performance testing.
* Calibrate sensors and control systems to meet emissions compliance.
* Liaise with engineering teams to resolve commissioning issues.
* Maintenance & Servicing
* Perform routine and reactive maintenance on installed systems.
* Diagnose faults and carry out repairs or component replacements.
* Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
* Health & Safety
* Adhere to site-specific safety protocols and risk assessments.
* Ensure compliance with environmental and emissions regulations.
* Use appropriate PPE and tools safely and effectively.
* Customer Interaction
* Communicate professionally with clients and site personnel.
* Provide technical support and training where required.
* Represent Agriemach Ltd with a high standard of workmanship and integrity.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Proven experience in mechanical fitting, ideally within emissions or exhaust systems.
* Familiarity with diesel engine technologies and emissions control.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel (including overnight stays).
* CSCS or equivalent site safety certification (preferred).
Desirable Skills:
* Electrical or instrumentation experience.
* Knowledge of emissions legislation and compliance standards.
* Experience working in power generation, marine, or industrial sectors.
