We are currently recruiting for two Grade 6 Network Planners to join us at our Worcester depot. Planners design our network and work with our Engineers to construct, reinforce, alter, and replace our equipment. As you can imagine, the pace is fast, and if you join us, our customers will trust you to provide excellent service and minimize any impact.
**Main Responsibilities:**
* Responsible for project design, costing, quoting, and the replacement/diversion/reinforcement of existing electricity network assets.
* Work primarily on the high-voltage network.
* Plan and coordinate projects, ensuring they meet safety, quality, and compliance standards.
* Monitor project costs, manage budgets, and ensure timely completion.
* Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to optimize network performance.
**Qualifications and Skills:**
* English and Maths GCSE Grade C/Level 4 minimum, or Functional Skills Level 2 or above.
* Level 2 City & Guilds 2339 or equivalent qualification; Level 3 City & Guilds 2339 is preferred.
* Experience in electrical planning or related field is desirable.
* Strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
* Proficiency with iPads, computers, and relevant software.
**Additional Requirements:**
* Full UK driving license, as travel across the area is required.
* Resilience, proactive approach, and ability to work independently.
* Willingness to undertake necessary training to develop required skills.
