Your role and responsibilities
Our Talent Acquisition team in UK & IE is growing, and we are seeking an experienced Talent Sourcer to join us. You will play a crucial role in identifying, engaging, and attracting top talent for ABB. Collaborating closely with Talent Partners, Hiring Managers, and Business Leaders, you will understand hiring needs, develop strategic sourcing plans, and build pipelines of passive and active candidates. This is a temporary ongoing role, hired via one of our agency partners. Your main responsibilities include:
1. Developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies to attract relevant talent for various roles within ABB UK & Ireland.
2. Conducting kick-off meetings with Hiring Managers and Talent Partners to discuss sourcing strategies, share market insights, and best practices.
3. Utilizing various sourcing tools and techniques such as job boards, social media, referrals, and networking to identify candidates.
4. Headhunting and engaging passive candidates through targeted outreach campaigns, leveraging creative messaging and employer branding techniques.
5. Conducting initial screening interviews to evaluate candidates' qualifications and suitability.
6. Using data analytics to understand market trends, candidate behavior, and monitor key metrics to refine sourcing strategies.
7. Identifying future hiring needs and developing talent pipelines, maintaining contact with potential candidates.
8. Tracking and reporting sourcing metrics, including sourced candidates, response rates, and conversion rates.
Qualifications for the role
* Extensive experience as a Talent Sourcer or Recruiter in a corporate or agency setting.
* Proficiency in sourcing techniques and tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media, and networking.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and build relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
* Ability to manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously.
* Proficiency in interpreting hiring trends and market data.
