The Role
Were looking for an experiencedPayroll Supervisorto take ownership of the end-to-end monthly payroll for a growing UK workforce of around600 employees across multiple sites, with headcount expected to increase tocirca 1,000 employeesover time.
This is a hands-on role with full responsibility for payroll accuracy, compliance, and delivery. Youll work closely with HR and Finance and act as the main point of contact for payroll across the business. As Vella continues to grow, the role offers the opportunity to help shape payroll processes and develop alongside the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Full ownership of monthly payroll processing, including starters, leavers, pay changes, bonuses, deductions, and adjustments
2. Liaising with HR to validate payroll inputs such as absences, maternity/paternity, and contractual changes
3. Ensuring accurate PAYE, National Insurance, and statutory payment calculations
