The Role
We are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients, a higher education provider working in partnership with the University of Suffolk.
The client is seeking Lecturers in Global Business Management to teach across a range of undergraduate levels on the BA (Hons) Global Business Management programme. Due to the delivery model, flexibility is required to teach during weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver, and assess teaching sessions, ensuring all module learning outcomes are met
* Develop, review, and continuously enhance course and module materials
* Apply a range of effective learning and teaching methods to support student engagement
* Assess student work and provide timely, constructive academic feedback
* Maintain up-to-date subject knowledge and awareness of best practices in teaching and student support
* Actively participate in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings, and administrative duties
* Support student attendance, progression, completion, and overall satisfaction in line with performance targets
About You – Essential Criteria
* A Master’s degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable)
* Previous lecturing experience within UK higher education
* Strong subject knowledge in global business or related disciplines
* Experience supervising student work and providing academic guidance and feedback
* Ability to maintain accurate, organised, and compliant student records
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
* Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds
* Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification
* (or commitment to enrol and complete within three years)
* Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (or international equivalent)
* Experience in the design or development of academic or professional education programmes
