May work in a range of operations functions in a warehouse or depot, including stock handling, forklift driving, mixing, blending, filling, and other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
As an operator, your responsibilities will include:
* Safely handling, filling, and storing chemical products in compliance with legislation and operational standards.
* Picking and checking vehicle loads to match customer orders.
* Loading vehicles with supplies and ensuring safe handling and dispatch according to operational procedures.
* Building loads to meet customer orders, including manual handling and using forklifts for pallets.
* Contributing to the safe and efficient operation of the yard and warehouse.
* Performing manual yard duties and chemical filling as required.
* Undertaking tanker offloading into bulk tanks or IBCs.
* Loading and unloading IDN trailers and storing items in the warehouse.
* Filling IBCs with chemicals using automated stations, with full protective suits and PPE provided.
* Carrying out any other reasonable tasks assigned by your line manager that are within your skills and abilities.
Skills & Experience:
* FLT truck operation
* REACH certification
* Experience in a distribution environment
* Working with chemicals (desirable)
