Responsibilities:
1. Service, maintain and repair pump and diesel equipment on customer sites and in the workshop
2. Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics and preventative maintenance
3. Inspect equipment returning from hire and document damage or recurring faults
4. Work to manufacturer specifications and H&S requirements (including PPE)
5. Complete job reports and communicate effectively with internal teams
6. Participate in a call-out rota (with standby allowance and overtime)
Experience & skills required:
7. NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent hands-on experience)
8. Background working with diesel engines, pumps, plant or mechanical equipment
9. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
10. Experience working on customer or construction sites
11. Full UK driving licence (max 6 points)
12. Flexible, reliable, and comfortable working outdoors in all weather
