What the Job Involves As an Employment Advisor, your role involves supporting adult job seekers in overcoming barriers to employment through exemplary case management. This includes providing advice, advocacy, and signposting to relevant services while ensuring compliance with all legislative frameworks such as GDPR. You will develop and maintain action plans, providing job search support and facilitating training as necessary. The role involves working closely with partners, employers, and local agencies to deliver employment support services, organizing job fairs and outreach events, and producing reports for caseload management. You will be responsible for motivating clients, facilitating workshops, managing client records, and meeting performance targets. Skills Proficiency in guiding and advising clients towards employment goals Extensive knowledge of the Welfare to Work benefits system Proficient in using ICT packages including Windows and Microsoft Office Suite Excellent organizational skills for managing caseloads and meeting targets Strong understanding of employment barriers and support legislation Effective communication skills, adaptable to diverse client needs Able to develop and deliver client-centered workshops and training Capable of working under pressure and adapting to changing demands
