Title: Costs Draftsman
Location: Manchester City Centre (Hybrid)

The Role:
You'll provide expert costs support to fee earners and solicitors, preparing and negotiating costs schedules for Housing Disrepair, Statutory Nuisance and related civil claims. You'll also assist in recovering costs efficiently post-settlement and supervise junior costs paralegals within the in-house team.
Key Responsibilities:

* Draft and negotiate legal costs for Housing Disrepair and Breach of Contract claims
* Prepare bills and budgets for court hearings
* Liaise with fee earners to ensure accurate, timely cost recovery
* Support and oversee junior team members

About You:
\n
* 2 years or more of legal costs experience (Costs Master knowledge desirable)
* Strong communication, organisation and attention to detail
* Confident working to deadlines in a busy environment
