Our inspiring and caring environment forms a global community that celebrates diversity and individuality. We encourage you to step beyond your comfort zone, offering resources and flexibility to foster your professional and personal growth, all while valuing your unique contributions. Siemens Healthineers MR Magnet Technology is the world’s leading designer and manufacturer of superconducting magnets for magnetic resonance imaging – over a third of MRI scanners installed worldwide have at their heart a magnet manufactured in our Eynsham factory. The business has been awarded several Queen’s Awards for export success, two Best Factory Awards and an IMechE Manufacturing Excellence Award and is justifiably proud of its engineering and manufacturing heritage. We are now entering a key stage in our growth with the addition of our brand new, £250m, state‑of‑the‑art facility in Bicester that will be producing our new DryCool technology, which will power the future of truly sustainable MRI.

The role covers hard and soft service provision so can involve both physical changes and changes to service delivery or a combination of both. The role covers production areas, offices and support zones. The core facilities project works are delivered through external contractors, either through specific orders for a set specification or through ongoing long‑term service provision contracts.

* Projects can cover a wide range of facilities areas and systems, including small building works, heating and cooling systems, fire systems, security systems and utilities (electricity, compressed air and water).
* Work with the soft‑service suppliers as required to develop and improve their provision of services covering cleaning, waste, security and catering.
* May be required to co‑ordinate with major project teams (Bicester facility team) to promote consistency of approach across existing and new facilities. Ensure operational issues are considered, such as integration with building management system (BMS) reliability, serviceability and whole‑life costs.

Requirements for the role

* Degree qualified in an engineering or building services discipline.
* Experience running multiple projects with a range of scales and durations.
* Experience maintaining and improving a wide range of buildings and utility systems. Knowledge of heating and cooling systems, electrical systems, pressurized gas systems, security systems and water systems is expected.

* Working knowledge of AutoCAD for the development of 2D layouts.
* Good IT skills, with the ability to clearly present projects across all levels of the organisation.
