An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Service Development Team for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to undertake a range of development duties associated with the improvement of service delivery, performance management planning and stakeholder involvement for the housing service, focusing on private sector housing inclusive of mid market homes.
Home / Hybrid Working Consideration

Please Note:
All home/hybrid workers must live in the UK. Where an application for home-working is supported, it will be subject to a satisfactory trial period. Employees will be expected to attend Council offices for the duration of induction, and be on site in East Lothian workplaces, as required. Employees with a hybrid working arrangement in place will be office based and able to work from home, with permission, on an ad hoc basis.
Job Details
To undertake a range of development duties associated with the improvement of service delivery, performance management planning and stakeholder involvement for the housing service, focusing on private sector housing inclusive of mid market homes.
To liaise with other staff, members of other groups, departments and organisations, encompassing services and functions externally sourced on development issues that impact on the service.
To work with frontline and other staff in the implementation of changes in policy and procedures across the service, and to ensure that the service improvements are achieved in relation to service delivery wherever possible.
This post will be key in delivering direct customer facing services with a range of administration functions and effective housing management of East Lothians Mid Market homes. This person will be the first point of contact for the applicants and residents for the Mid-Market properties and is therefore key in assuring excellent customer service and high levels of customer satisfaction.
