Job Description: Responsibilities BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT Develop and successfully deliver the allocated forecast bookings Engage with organisations through solution and value proposition-based selling. Developing a deep knowledge of Intelliscape’s products and services to effectively communicate the value proposition features, advantages, and benefits. Propose solutions and articulate their value based upon customer’s strategy and direction, building compelling propositions that match company capability to market needs and differentiate Intelliscape from the competition and share best Key Account Management Practice with the Sales Account Managers Articulate our value proposition to ensure the business impact of the solution is understood by our prospects/clients Engage in prospecting activity to drive sales pipeline creation. Up selling and leveraging business from new and established customer relationships. Assist in the preparation and maintenance of marketing and sales material, data sheets and web site information relevant to the sector. Support Intelliscape with and at various corporate events and exhibitions. PROPOSALS Write/edit proposal/bid/enquiry responses from a variety of stakeholders, ensuring consistency of the responses in terms of customer hot buttons, themes and key messages. Support the delivery of engaging, professional, compliant, high-quality tender responses within defined timeframes Understand the frameworks and mechanisms used by Key Accounts to support initiatives and support them in building cases to increase their budgets to enable spend Responsible for ensuring proposals are submitted consistently ahead of the deadlines set by the tendering authority, body or Key Account KEY ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT Maintain regular contact with customers, collaborators and industry specialists to keep lines of communication open for pursuing existing and new business opportunities. Maintain awareness of current and future Key Account customer programmes and projects. Help to maintain the profile of the Company by attendance at relevant forums and conferences Build and maintain customer relationships with key decision makers Ensure collaborative mirroring relationships are built between related personnel and departments in Intelliscape and our Key Account customers Build and maintain a schedule of contract renewals for Intelliscape clients and non-Intelliscape prospects to enable the preparation of extensions, renewals and new solutions Maintain sales pipeline and horizon diary in a CRM Regular Public Sector Opportunities Pipeline horizon scanning and reporting Conduct regular bookings, opportunities, and Key Account reviews and regularly supply market sourced feedback into Intelliscape OTHER Update weekly forecasts accurately providing regular progress updates Promote a consistent high standard of performance which demonstrates good teamwork, Sales Account Manager development, effective communication, consistent positive results and continuous improvement and efficient practices of work Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory matters Keep up to date with market trends and competitor activity Always set a strong personal example regarding all health and safety matters. Person Specification Education, Qualifications & Experience Demonstrable experience in selling into Transport for London and/or Network Rail. Proven track record in Key Account Management. Proven track record in sales and profitability growth Knowledgeable in the Transport for London/Other Transport for and Network Rail sectors. Excellent written, verbal, communication and presentation skills.
