Duties
* Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
* Engage with guests to provide excellent service, taking orders accurately and efficiently while upselling menu items when appropriate.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery to guests.
* Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and report any shortages or needs for reordering.
* Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills to process payments and provide change.
* Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe environment for both staff and guests.
* Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain service quality.
Experience
* Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred, particularly in roles involving serving or bar work.
* Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential.
* Experience in food preparation or culinary roles would be advantageous.
* Strong time management skills are necessary to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
