C++ Software Engineer / Developer (C++ Mac Extensions API) – WFH / London to £80k
Are you a C++ Software Engineer with experience developing and integrating Apple Mac Extensions and APIs? Join a rapidly expanding scale‑up software house building a highly complex network cyber‑security platform that monitors network protocols in real time, parses commands and data structures, extracts key metadata, and provides in‑house analysis to detect hackers, malware, data leakage, and other malicious activity.
Location / WFH
You can work from home most of the time, meeting up with colleagues in the London office once or twice a month.
Responsibilities
Enable the core product, written in C/C++ for Windows and Linux, to run on Apple Mac using the latest Extensions, tools and API integrations. Contribute to the development, integration, and maintenance of the platform’s Mac‑specific components.
Requirements
* Strong C++ development skills
* Experience integrating software with Apple Mac Extensions and APIs
* Good knowledge of network security and EDR / EDRt
* Experience with VPN client or security‑related tools
* Collaborative teamwork and excellent communication skills
* Experience producing technical documentation
* Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
