Clerical Officer - Radiology

We're looking for organized, reliable, and friendly individuals to join our Radiology team as Clerical Officers. This is a great opportunity to play an important part in a busy department that works at the heart of patient care.
In this role, you'll help keep the department running smoothly by coordinating appointments, welcoming patients, and supporting staff with a range of essential clerical tasks. You'll be the first point of contact for many of our patients, so a positive attitude and a professional approach will make all the difference.
What you'll be doing
* Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments to help clinics run efficiently
* Providing a friendly, supportive welcome to patients and dealing with enquiries in a helpful manner
* Carrying out a variety of clerical duties to support the day‑to‑day running of the department
* Helping to ensure everything is well‑organised so patients receive a safe and effective service
Person Specification
Knowledge
* Computer literate, with experience of using a keyboard
* Knowledge of RIS/PAS and NHS in general
Qualifications
* Good general education with GCSE English at grade C or above
* NVQ administration
Further Training
* Customer Care Training
Experience
* Clerical experience
* Customer care experience
* Experience of working in a Radiology setting
Contractual
* Regular attendance and willingness to work flexibly in terms of hours and location within the Radiology Department
