Overview
An established manufacturer in the technical products sector is looking for a Sales Engineer to cover key industrial and manufacturing regions across the North of England and Scotland. This is a field‑based role focused on developing new business and supporting existing customers with technical product solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow accounts across the North West of England and Scotland.
* Support customers and distributors with technical advice and application guidance.
* Respond to product enquiries and provide hands‑on support where needed.
* Conduct customer visits and deliver product demonstrations and training.
* Handle complaint investigations and provide follow‑up support.
* Track sales leads and opportunities through to conversion.
* Support exhibitions and product promotions when required.
* Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial terms.
Requirements
* Experience in B2B sales, ideally with a technical or engineered product.
* Ability to understand customer needs and recommend practical solutions.
* Comfortable working independently and managing a field‑based territory.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
