We are seeking a Workshop Supervisor, where you’ll manage a hardworking crew, oversee quality and safety, and help drive continuous improvement.

41.25hrs per week on a 4-week rota basis
Monday to Friday, working 1 in 4 Saturdays
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a team of Welder/Fabricators and Assembly team
* Promote a strong health & safety culture, delivering Toolbox Talks and ensuring compliance.
* Oversee production schedules, monitor quality, and drive efficiency.
* Manage team performance, recruitment, and training, fostering a high-performing workforce.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve processes and optimise productivity.
* Maintain an adequate stock level within the department, ordering resources as required.
Person Specification:
* Experience working in a production/manufacturing environment.
* Experience with drawings and managing production schedules
* Experience of managing and leading a team
* Ideally a Level 2 City and Guilds qualification in Metal Inert Gas Welding or an equivalent qualification or:
* Previous welding and people management experience and prepared to complete the qualification
