I am seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter on behalf of a client based in Cardigan. This business is dynamic and forward thinking, creating a great name for themselves within the renewables sector. This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Technician/Fitter who is mechanically biased with mechanical qualifications. As a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter, you will be taking a hands:on approach to work through fault:finding and fitting equipment, mainly pumps.
Role and Responsibilities:
* A hands:on role, based on site in the plant where you will be carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance on equipment.
* Report directly to the Maintenance Manager, with opportunities to cover this role when required, boosting your ability to progress within the company.
* Working predominantly on pumps, but also working with mixers, heat exchangers, and much more.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
* Mechanical qualifications (NVQ/HNC/HND or equivalent).
* Experience working in a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter position, ideally in an industry such as agriculture, water treatment, or food.
* Experience working with pumps is highly desirable.
* Welding experience is preferred but not essential.
