SEN Teaching Assistant – Secondary (Tower Hamlets)
Start: ASAP
Pay: £98-£105 per day
Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm
Contract: Full‑time, ongoing
A welcoming secondary SEN department in Tower Hamlets is looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with strong ASD experience and a background working in an SEN school or specialist provision.
Key duties:
1. Supporting students with autism and complex learning needs
2. Providing 1:1 and small‑group SEN support
3. Aiding engagement, communication, and independence
4. Assisting with differentiation and access to learning
You must have:
5. Strong SEN school experience (ASD essential)
6. Confident communication and behaviour support skills
7. A patient, proactive, and resilient approach
8. An enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
