About the role
Tesco: Full time (36 hours) or part time considered (30 hours)
Contract: Permanent
Shift Pattern: Varies from day to day but are planned in advance

You will be responsible for
1. Recruiting and training the best people for your team, developing their operational and leadership skills.
2. Coaching your team to be passionate and knowledgeable about the products, building the brand, and providing excellent customer service.
3. Leading your team in driving trade activity, growing sales, and maximizing profit.
4. Building your managers' knowledge to deliver and sustain the Store Change Plan, resource planned activities, and resolve root cause issues with sustainable solutions.
5. Ensuring store safety and legal trading by coaching the team to use all security tools available.
You will need
* Excellent communication skills, sharing knowledge and working collaboratively.
* A welcoming attitude towards customers, listening and building strong relationships.
* Energy and resilience to work in challenging environments, making quick decisions for the benefit of customers and colleagues.
* Drive to exceed expectations, act ethically, and inspire confidence.
* Awareness of competitors' activities and a proactive approach to improving the store.
