1. Know and abide by Food Hygiene regulations and all relevant Home policies and procedures.
2. Maintain good personal hygiene.
3. Help to maintain the kitchen in a safe and hygienic state – following procedures and routines as directed by the cook or those listed above.
4. Load the dishwasher as instructed, keep surfaces safe and uncluttered.
5. Liaise with staff and visitors.
6. Kitchen left clean and tidy when you leave at the agreed time.
7. Make yourself aware of service users individual dietary needs.
8. Timely maintenance of service user's diet/fluid records.
9. Assistance during all mealtimes as directed by the Chef.
10. Be responsible for the tea trollies during your shift/prepare visitors drink trays when requested.
11. Ensure the menus are updated throughout the day.
12. Report any problems/concerns to the Chef or Catering Manager.
13. Maintain confidentiality of all information at Mill House.
14. Do nothing to bring the Home into disrepute.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: £12.21-£15.21 per hour
