Reporting directly to the Sales & Service Manager you will be responsible for pricing incoming enquiries and following up to secure new orders. You will be maximising existing yard stockist relationships, ensuring consistent stock holding, alongside achieving KPIs in relation to the number of pro-active calls and other points of contact promoting the company’s product range.Please note you must have a Full UK Driving Licence to be considered as plant and customer visits can be requested as part of the role.Main ResponsibilitiesAs the successfulInternal Sales Representative,working alongside the Territory Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing a geographical sales area including new business development.On a day to day basis, duties and responsibilities for theInternal Sales Representativewill include (not exhaustive):Serving as the main point of contact for actioning incoming enquiriesProviding customers with pricing in an efficient and timely manner, in line with company pricing proceduresProactively chasing pipeline of open quotations to obtain feedbackConverting enquiries into orders, maximising profitability within approved pricing levels, upselling and identifying value add opportunitiesMaking regular contact with yard stockists to ensure consistent supplyResponsible for filling ‘VAP’ vehicle availability for your designated plantKeeping up to date with product ranges, developing in-depth knowledge of our Tarmac Blocks offerings, fully enhancing your contribution and ability to support customersEnsuring customer records/systems are continually updated and accurateKeeping all systems and processes compliant with the relevant company and statutory requirements and guidelinesThe idealInternal Sales Representative will have a proven track record in selling, negotiating and converting whilst demonstrating:Customer focusSelf-motivation with a can-do attitudeDrive to achieve targets Negotiation using effective questioning and listeningClear and concise communicationAbility to build relationships and trust by providing solutionsPositivity and a desire to succeedTeam focusedThe role is based at our offices in Wolverhampton.
