Location: Portsmouth
Salary: £27,000 - 30,000
Benefits: 4-day working week, overtime (1.5x), working with a world-leading product
CNC Miller Overview:
An opportunity has opened up in the Portsmouth area to join a well-established precision engineering company who have been operating for over 40 years and manufactures a world leading product synonymous with precision.
CNC Miller Requirements
1. Ability to set and operate CNC Mills
2. Understanding of control languages such as Heidenhain or Fanuc
3. Working with offsets and tooling changes
4. Ability to use manual measuring equipment
5. Understanding of drawing tolerances and specifications
CNC Miller Responsibilities and Essentials
1. Must have right to live and work in the UK (Essential due to nature of product)
2. Must have a clean criminal record (Essential due to nature of product)
3. Must be able to set and operate CNC Mills on Bridgeport/Heidenhain
4. Must understand how to offset and tool change efficiently
5. Solid understanding of GD&T
Additional Information for CNC Miller:
1. Monday to Thursday (Days)
2. Overtime available at x 1.5
3. Due to the nature of the work, a full police check will be conducted if successful and can take up to 6 weeks
