Trainee MIS Report Writer – Fixed Term Ref: 165961 Salary: £30,438 to £32,292 Location: Wakefield College Hours: 37 hours per week Please note, this role is Fixed Term for 2 years, and the successful applicant will be completing the Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship alongside the role. We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee MIS Report Writer to join the Funding, Timetabling and Student Data team! As a Trainee MIS Report Writer, you will support the Reporting and BI Manager through the maintenance of an information service that supports the information requirements of Group Managers and external agencies, and you will support the operation of individual processes within the Group. You will: Undertake a Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship Create reports and extract data from Group information systems Prepare and present reports relating to the work of the MI function and other appropriate matters Develop databases and queries as appropriate to monitor data quality Work to ensure that information for Group managers is clear, relevant, on time and easy to understand and use About you: You will hold GCSEs in English and Maths AC/9-4 or equivalent You will be qualified to Higher National/Degree level, or have significant experience in the Further Education sector You must have a commitment to completing the Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship You will have professional working experience of relational database management systems (RDBMS) This is a diverse role where you will be building relationships with curriculum and support staff, and many other stakeholders.
