A well-established Somerset law firm with a strong reputation in the rural community is looking to add an experienced lawyer to its Agriculture & Rural Affairs team. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Wells, Street, or Somerton, giving you the chance to work in the heart of the Southwest countryside while building lasting client relationships.
The role itself is varied; you’ll advise on everything from property transactions, succession planning, and tenancies, through to regulatory, planning, and compliance matters. You’ll also draft and negotiate key contracts and agreements, keeping a diverse caseload moving while delivering the high-quality, practical advice clients rely on.

You’ll have 3+ years’ PQE in agriculture, rural affairs, or property law, with a strong technical background and the confidence to manage client relationships directly.
