Role: Lead SAP (Senior Authorised Person) Sector: Offshore Wind Location: Home based but will need to be flexible and site visits + vessel visits required, in addition to attendance at Glasgow office on occasion Working Pattern: Monday-Friday Start Date: ASAP Duration: 6-Month Initial Contract Rates: £900 - £950 Daily Rate Inside IR35 via Umbrella Clearance: BPSS (DBS/DS, Financial Probity, Employment History) + Medical Questionnaire & Proof of Right to Work in the UK Responsible for the overall coordination, management and execution of commissioning for the mechanical and electrical systems at the onshore & offshore substations and export cable including commissioning onshore at the assembly / construction sites. The key aspect of the role will be early engagement with the project team and EPC contractor to ensure a plan is agreed for the onshore commissioning activities on the transmission assets aboard the platform pre-sailing. A key interface will be the offshore sub station commissioning engineer. The array cabling will also be within the responsibility of this position. From time to time this position will also cover for the Commissioning Manager. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 1.
