Contract : Full time

Weekly hours : 37.5

Shift Patterns:

* ASAP start date - possible temp to perm opportunity (career progression opportunities)
* Monday to Friday - covering 37.5 hours per week - 8am start time (some flexibility with earlier start times)
* Weekend work may be required on very rare occasions (dependent on product launches)
* On-site role - given both site locations, candidates would need to drive to get there

Qualifications:

Our client would ideally like candidates to have the relevant qualifications listed below; however, there are opportunities to complete qualifications within the role. Experience with food safety and food quality would be desirable.

* Food Safety certification
* Level 3 HACCP

Job Duties/Tasks:

The day-to-day tasks and responsibilities can vary. Our client requires a candidate who can take initiative, respond to tasks as they arise, and manage daily responsibilities effectively. The role includes supporting and advising the manufacturing team to optimise day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Product reviews
* Responding to complaints
* Incident management - ingredients/packaging
* Managing bills of materials (ensuring accurate recipes)
* Document control/management to ensure compliance for audits
* Health & Safety - escalating issues and maintaining high standards
* Working collaboratively with wider business functions
* Administrative work - paperwork/documentation checks

Candidate Attributes:

Our client is looking for a candidate who is organised, able to take initiative, and has strong IT skills, as the role requires the use of computers and databases. Strong English language skills are also essential.
